Basement

Overview

The Basement is the home's utility and exercise area on Floor B1. It houses core infrastructure including the media UPS, water softener, dehumidifier, and HVAC equipment monitoring. It also has Amazon Alexa and Fire TV for entertainment.

Notes / Gotchas

  • The smartthinq_sensors integration is in setup_retry — LG washer/dryer are in the Laundry Room and may occasionally show as unavailable.
  • Iqua Softener uses efficiency mode selector — default is set via the integration.
  • The Eufy HomeBase must be online for all Eufy cameras to function; losing it takes down Living Room, Basement, Backyard, Garage, Front Door, Back Door, and Front Doorbell Chime entities.
