The Garage is the most entity-rich area in the home with 117 entities. It contains a RATGDO-controlled garage door opener, an Aqara smart lock, a Reolink Driveway floodlight camera, Eufy Garage camera, Lutron wall switch lighting, Amazon Echo Dot, and motion sensors — all with robust automation coverage.

Notes / Gotchas

  • The ratgdov2.5i ESPHome device has no HA area assigned in the device registry — entities are correctly assigned to garage area but the parent device shows area_id: null.
  • Two separate Garage Smart Lock entities exist: one via Matter (Aqara Smart Lock U100) and the ratgdov2.5i e4d21f Lock remotes (which controls RATGDO's remote access, not the door lock itself).
  • The Reolink Driveway camera uses the reolink native integration (not RTSP-only) — this provides full motion detection, AI detection, siren, and floodlight control.
